Our Legacy and History

• Founded in 1962 by Jagdish Prakash Tak in Ajmer: Ajmer Diesels and Tractors (ADT) initially began as a dealership for tractors and diesel fuel, catering to the agricultural sector.
• Expansion to Udaipur: As the business grew, ADT expanded to Udaipur and secured a dealership for Crompton motors and pumps, marking the beginning of diversification.
• Diversification in Business: Recognizing evolving market needs, ADT also started dealing with electronic fitting parts for motors and pumps.

The Turning Point: 1997

• Second-Generation Leadership: In 1997, Alok Tak, after completing his chemical engineering degree in Germany, returned to India to lead the company into a new direction.
• Venturing into Electronics: In 2000, ADT entered the electronics distribution sector, securing a dealership with LG, marking the beginning of ADT’s rapid growth and diversification.

Our Growth and Innovation

• Expanding Portfolio: Over the last 25 years, ADT has expanded its portfolio to represent over 20 renowned brands, including Reliance-Kelvinator, LG, BPL, Havells, Whirlpool, Voltas, and many more.
• Pioneering Retail Chains: ADT pioneered retail chains under CMS in Jodhpur, Udaipur, and Jaipur, and ventured into LED and speaker manufacturing. These efforts demonstrated ADT’s adaptability and innovation, even as some ventures were later closed.

Legacy of Excellence

• The Original Shop: The original shop in Udaipur, first leased by our founder, was later purchased, securing ADT’s presence for over 50 years and continuing to serve as the hub for Crompton motors and pumps.
• Strategic Expansion: ADT expanded its presence further with another strategically leased store, becoming a leading distributor for LG, ensuring long-term market dominance.
